About the Role
Tabs is seeking a senior integration engineer to help expand our platform’s connectivity and data automation capabilities. You’ll be a key contributor in designing, building, and scaling integrations that directly power critical revenue workflows for our customers. This is a high-impact, technical role at the intersection of systems engineering, customer needs, and product infrastructure.
You’ll work closely with both our product and implementation teams to solve deep backend and data interoperability problems, abstract complexity behind clean APIs, and build secure, scalable services that connect our platform with a wide range of third-party systems and enterprise data sources.
How We Work
- We work hard. One-week sprints, weekly ship goals, and short feedback cycles. Built around intra-month product releases.
- We work smart. Get in front of the customer, use both data and customer feedback to drive decisions, while keeping the bigger picture in the back of our minds.
- We work together. In-office culture with people that you want to work with. Lots of whiteboard space. Expense coffee, lunch and dinner when in the office.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable integration pipelines and data services
- Work across authentication, webhooks/workflows, data synchronization, and error handling layers
- Abstract third-party complexity into internal APIs that are easy to test, monitor, and evolve
- Lead architectural decisions and contribute to internal standards for integrations and backend systems
- Help grow a strong engineering culture through example
About You

- Proven experience owning backend services that integrate with external systems or APIs
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript, Python, or a comparable web/backend language
- Deep understanding of system design, distributed systems, and asynchronous processing
- Strong product sense and customer-oriented thinking—able to translate needs into elegant technical solutions
- Experience working in fast-paced, early-stage environments where shipping and iteration are valued
- Bonus: Experience with data normalization, observability tools, or enterprise connectivity patterns
Perks and Benefits:
- Competitive compensation and equity
- 100% coverage for healthcare (Medical, Dental and Vision)
- 401(k) plan
- Daily meal and coffee stipend for in-office days
- Tax free contribution to commuter benefits
